Scheduling Maintenance

To schedule a maintenance, choose ‘upcoming maintenances – schedule maintenance’:


 Following data can be entered:


1.      The name of the organisation (can only be changed when several organisations are active)

2.      Choose aircraft from scroll down

3.      Choose maintenance type from scroll down

4.      If maintenance type is not yet available, use this shortcut to create the desired maintenance type.

5.      Field for optional remarks

6.      Mark maximum clock reading at which the maintenance has to be performed. (Default is suggested, this can be changed manually)

7.      Default exceedance is suggested. (This can be changed manually)

8.      Default date is suggested at which the aircraft can no longer fly without the performing of the maintenance. (This can be changed manually)

9.      Cancel or confirm buttons.

Once confirmed, the details of the maintenance appear:


1.      Unique identifier of the maintenance

2.      Aircraft (red colour means clicking on the item is a shortcut to more information about the item)

3.      Maintenance type

4.      Actual location and clock reading of the aircraft.

5.      Clock reading at which the maintenance has to be performed.

6.      Remaining hours before the maintenance should be performed.

7.      Maximum exceedance of the clock reading.

8.      Last date of flight possible without performing the maintenance

9.      Status colour:

a.      Green: max clock reading and date have not been reached

b.     Orange: max clock reading has been surpassed but less than exceedance

c.      Red: max clock reading + exceedance are surpassed or the date has been surpassed.

10. Edit button to change the maintenance schedule

11. Schedule submaintenance: in some cases, a maintenance type can include another maintenance type which can be added here:


Mark the changelog details: time and identity of the person who creates, edits or performs maintenances are all logged for tracing purposes.
