Aircraft Documents

The purpose of this application is to register, save and monitor the aircraft documents.

Moreover, via the phone app, it is immediately clear whether the documents are expired or not (green or red colour) and the controlling entity (like a Camo) is also mentioned at the top.


Ticking the documents button gives immediate access to view or download the documents.

 

 

Input of documents:


1.       Main menu: Click ‘Documents’ to check the overview

2.       Search function: enter name or type to search a specific document

3.       Create:


3.1.  Enter a name (open choice)

3.2.  Choose a document type (scroll to make a choice)

3.3.  Mark if this document replaces an existing document.

3.4.  Enter a copy of the document (pdf)

3.5.  Cancel or confirm

4.       Active button: green: active document; red: old document

5.       Valid button: green: within expiry period; red: expired document

6.       Name of the document

7.       Document type

8.       Expiry information

If the aircraft is not connected to a controlling entity, the owner/operator can manage all documents. In other cases, certain documents can only be managed by the controlling organisation, such as a CAMO.

Document monitoring:

Monitoring a document means that the system will send a warning mail at the specific defined amount of days before the expiry date.

The days can be defined for each document type and there can be several days defined for each document type. In this example, mails will be send 30 days before expiry of the insurance and another mail will be send 10 days before:


1.       Monitoring overview is accessed via ‘documents – monitoring’

2.       Document type

3.       Defined days when the warning mail has to be send

4.       View, edit or remove buttons

5.       Create monitoring rule:

5.1.  Choose rule model (i.e. documents)

5.2.  Choose document type

5.3.  Enter days before expiry to send the warning mail

5.4.  Cancel or confirm
